119th congress: must be at least 75 to chair a committee!

The average American still thinks ... that Welfare is enough money to feed a family of four on.
Not to mention the high-end electronics, luxury cars, and McMansions that all welfare recipients can easily afford.

I especially love it when people whose AGI is less than the standard deduction complain about how THEIR tax dollars are being wasted on welfare recipients....

I really believe this is their strategy.

And I wholeheartedly agree with your last paragraph.
That's exactly their strategy. And they think the electorate are so smart, they'll figure out how Trump is fucking them all on their own, they won't need to explain to them how they're being fucked.

What they don't understand is why anyone would then choose to vote for them, after four years of people being fucked and them just standing by watching it happen. "Sorry, nothing we can do about it. We have no power."

The Dems have to start to understand that the vast majority of this country is politically illiterate and the average American reads at a 6th grade level.
IINM, the New York Times is written at the sixth grade level. The New York Post is written at a third grade level. That is the average person's literacy.

Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) announces she won’t seek re-election in 2026. MN has a deep bench of Democrats, because f*ck yeah, the greatest Democratic state in the U.S., but Smith, to me, is/was an excellent politician. Got sh*t done. I hope you Minnesotans pick another winner next year.

I was nonplussed about her when she first ranked but she really was great at her job.

Will the MNGOP run Royce White or Jason Lewis agai ? If so "Unnamed Dem" has already been declared the winner with no precinct reporting :p

What are the chances this guy hates Musk and will make it so a Dem can beat Collins. Probably a pay wall but former senior engineer at space x, moved back to maine and is running as an independent against Collins.

Moved back! Sounds lime out of state support to me! Drew and his one brain cell are concerned

She has been much better than Klobuchar over the last two years. Amy thinks she's going to be president, but she would barely win Minnesota riding on provincialism alone.

Ellison is interesting. He's probably near the top of my list. But I'm also a realist.

Has someone had the "wake up and smell the political coffee" meeting with her yet? Or do they fear she might chuck some office supplies at them? 😜
