Cori Bush is awesome. She filed a resolution to expel all Members who supported the coup.

They should expel everyone who voted to challenge the certification. Make an example of these Nazis (and the cynical jerks who played games with them). End them.

Would be amazing...but if it requires 67% of the House to expel, that would require 290 members. Democrats have 222. 68 Republicans would have to vote for expulsion...and if 147 voted to overturn the election, that leaves 66 who didn’t. Which 2 will vote to slit their own throat? All are certainly dumb enough...

Edit: Bad math. 2/3 of 435 is 290, not 292.

Does it matter because they're going to discontinue all political campaign contributions?

Goldman, JP Morgan, Dow, etc..., will find someone to whom they can give their money, and in return, receive favorable Congressional efforts. Just because you don't like your guy anymore and have decided to cut off your money supply doesn't mean that you can't find another guy.

Also, they're going to stop putting money in the accounts of individual GOP and dump it into the NRCC instead. Nothing is going to change.

Oh, it doesn't matter in terms of them still owning Congress. But it matters for the Nazis. If you were part of the coup your career is on thin ice right now.

But we need to expel them all. Get them out of incumbency, and make them run against a Republican incumbent. That is the only way the RNC excretes them. Otherwise the Republican party will act like those cop "Brotherhoods" and defend the laundry, not the guy.

We need to force the Republican party to choose to either cut these guys' throats or go down with them. That's the only effective way to root out the cancer of the last fifty years short of 1861 Part Deux (which would be very short and much less bloody but still god awful).

Right now the inherent cowardice of conservatives works for us. We have to make them give up the Nazis to save their own wrinkled old ashes.

ATT now on the list. LP and others won’t be forgetting this in 8 weeks and I fully expect people to be checking this, and publicizing what they find.
