Not entirely true. 9 GOP and 2 Dems.

Toomey says he would’ve voted to advance. Murray says she would have as well. They both claimed family emergencies for not showing.

I would be interested to know what the stats are for a random population of 100 to have a family emergency on a particular day, because it seems like there’s always at least one that somehow needs to be out of town. If there’s any job where work should take precedent, it’s this one.

The other Dem was Sinema because she’s apparently just going to treat the Senate like her own version Office Space and continue to try less and less.
 
Honestly, I don't think I hate anyone as much as I hate that worthless fcking sack of sh*t McConnell. Not even Trump, who would be too stupid to hate if he didn't have so many godd@mn fcking mouth-breathers following him and hanging on his every mangled word as if it were Aragorn's Return of the King speech.

I pretty much feel this way about the entire Republican Caucus these days. Their entire existence is a threat to Democracy and their flaccid inability to do what's right (or even what would be considered "conservative" ) is putting the country on a path to destruction. The fact that a bunch of mouthbreathers and rural fucknuts are willing to set the world on fire to own the libs and "Keep America Misogynistic and Racist Again" only intensifies my bile towards them.

Oh and that goes double for spineless a$$hole kunts like Manchin and Sinema. Even Neville Chamberlain looks at those halfwits and says "well those two are fucking worthless losers!".
 
Sinema disappoints me the most. I expect McConnell and the GOP to be a bunch of fucking as-holes subverting democracy at this point. And at this rate, they may win by 2024. I expect Manchin to be who he is. One poster thinks 2020 will help save democracy. Most of the rest of us think it was a blueprint for how the GOP will effectively strangle democracy the next time around, with someone much more efficient and cunning than Trump, with Congress on their side, and statehouses on their side. Ew.
 
I think the next 2 elections are it. We need to hold Congress in 2022 and then 2024 is basically a last sprint to end Nazism. Even optimistic people I know these days agree with me which is scary.

No Crenshaw is definitely stupid. Don't give them (especially him) too much credit. If we didn't live in a society that doesn't believe its own eyes anymore they wouldn't get away with it.
