I would guess that the Cities and outlying college towns had a lot of disaffected young Bernouts who stayed home.
 
Yes given the purposeful slowdown of the postal service, how crazy of Minnesota to think of using the postmark date for being counted. So left wing.

here’s hoping it disenfranchises R military absentee votes who now can’t fix it
 
Ossoff starting to close in on Perdue on 538, has passed him in recent polls.

With a nice blue tailwind we could wake up on Wednesday (or a week or so later...) with 2 GA Dem Senators.

I'll believe when I see it, but it sure beats the days when those races were called red the instant the polls closed.

I would be less triggered, yes.

The point through all this is we have a Liberal / Centrist coalition. It helps nobody to be all "hurr hurr those irresponsible Bernouts hurr hurr." It sucks, doubly since the Centrists control the ticket.

Be magnanimous and remember that next time around the shoe may well be on the other foot. You would not want somebody to be talking about "hurr hurr those turncoat DINOs hurr hurr." Especially not right at this second, poised to kill Nazis if we can just keep it in our pants.

It was cringe funny to watch Maher lose control of his own show. Franken was hitting dingers and Maher couldn't keep up and was obviously both annoyed and flustered. He's lost his fastball. There are a hundred people who could be doing that show who are better than he is.
 
Really I thought Franken was mostly awful. His timing was way off and his jokes made no sense. That stupid 2 minute bit about the 70 year old and the microwave...even the audience was like WTF. Al looked out of practice though the gravy boat bit was much better.

Yeah I didn’t think he was great outside the Gravy joke.

can’t believe Cruz or Cornyn haven’t spoken up in defense of having their constituents votes counted. Oh wait, they probably don’t want them counted.

I don't agree at all. I thought the only points in which his timing was off (like the microwave) were when Maher was wrestling with him, and losing. Franken's humor is much drier than Maher, who always has to pause for a "didja get that hurr hurr?" as if his jokes are in any way subtle. Franken is the real thing and Maher just could not come back. Also, Franken can work off the cuff and Maher is limited by his writers' prep. I've never heard Maher drop a great off the cuff joke.
