In Michigan, we use paper. Last November, I went straight down the middle voting D because our dumbasses eliminated straight ticket voting.

It is obvious what is going on when one party doesn't want there to be voting security. Not only are they preparing to cheat but they have been cheating all along. I wouldn't be shocked if there were hundreds of elections over the past 20+ years in which systematic machine and count manipulation has changed the result from D to R. This is what the Republican party is, now. Fascists don't believe in democratic institutions. They believe in brute force and pure power.

I've been hearing McConnell referred to inside the Beltway as "Moscow Mitch" for a while but apparently it's now seeping out into the teevee people (e.g. Scarborough). That needs to stick.

3 House Republicans have announced they are not running for re-election in the last 36 hours, and 13% (2/15) of the women in their caucus have decided not to run in the last month.

I hope this indicates genuinely horrific polling.

A Republican challenger to freshman DFL Rep. Ilhan Omar was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting more than $2,000 in goods from a suburban Target earlier this year.

Danielle Stella launched her campaign against Omar in June. The 31-year-old special education teacher has made crime rates in Minneapolis part of her pitch to voters in Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District.
