Moscow Mitch will never confirm another Democratic nominee. We will need the Senate from now on. This is why when we gain the Senate we need to create at least 2 new SCOTUS seats to compensate for Gorsuch. Fairer would be two more to compensate for the other Russian nominee, Kavanaugh.

We should do the same to compensate for all federal bench slots that have been filled by Russian nominees.

The GOP is playing with live ammunition. Opposing them with tea and crumpets is why the public thinks we are pu-sies.

I'm just so surprised that Republicans can change the rules whenever they want and they can take advantage of the rules whenever they want. Just so surprising cause the Democrats can never do that.

I saw a recent poll where she's the 2nd most unpopular Senator in the US (or 2nd lowest favorability rating, I'll try to dig it up).

I think people are getting weary of her act.

When you get up in front of the world and announce your support for Kavanaugh, and you justify it with the biggest lie you can come up with then, yes, people will bail. And people have finally bailed. She did the same thing with the tax cut.

83% of that tax cut went to the less than 1%. And, that tax cut did nothing to expand the middle class. And, she lied about it like all the others.

I wonder how many state house GOP incumbents run unopposed. My guess is hundreds.

We should be competing everywhere all the time. Even if in deep red districts we're running Dems who are to the right of Mike Lee, the more we can deny them power the better. The key is to allow them to caucus with us and support them in their elections but (1) cede them no policy ground and (2) always be on the lookout for the next electable farther left candidate.

Ratchet this party back to the socialist alternative to fascism that we need to be. Be moderate where necessary and liberal wherever possible.

It's very good news so many GOP Members are bailing. It means their internal polling is showing 2018 Part II.

We must take the Senate, too, and then start confirming justices who make these guys look reactionary. We must embrace activism. The "originalist" scam has always just been a fig leaf for radical right wing activism. We must counter and exceed it when we have the chance.

This by the way is another reason to have the farthest left president possible. A timeserver like Biden will nominate old school centrist justices like Kagan and Breyer. We need nominees who are well to the left of Sotomayor and Ginsburg.
