I do wish those aggravating midWestern posters (who live East of me) would recognize that EC means Elmira College and the University or Wisconsin Eau Claire is UWEC or WEC. They won't ever learn ...

Elmira has a much longer resume of success in hockey on a national level and deserves the shorter acronym, Most D3 hockey fans would assume that EC refers to Elmira college, but then, of course, most D3 hockey fans are located in the East (of course on this board, most of them live in Oswego apparently , given the number of hoots each Oswego goal gets). All kidding aside, EC for UWEC has confused me on more than one occasion.
