10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

We should draft sooner if possible. Also we only miss 1 game on the 28th. So not sure we have to push scoring back to week 2.

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

I can't make the draft if it stays as is on Thursday. However, I was at the draft last year and finished 2nd to last so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

yeah.... I think my strength is going to be pitching. ;) Lincecum, Sabathia and Verlander (wait until one of them blows out an arm, though)

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

I got the player my team is named after, so that's good. Other than that I feel like I got screwed over by the autodraft. Only two relievers? At least I'll be winning the IP category every week.

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

Anyone else having trouble seeing their rosters? Mine keeps showing as "empty."

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

With 14 teams everyone should of gotten a slightly stronger team this season. As there were 42 extra players available.

My teams feels fairly well rounded, although my middle infield leaves something to be desired.

Brian McCann, ATL-C
Kendrys Morales, LAA-1B OF
Howie Kendrick, LAA-2B 1B OF
Ian Desmond, WAS-SS
Mark Reynolds, BAL-3B 1B
Jacoby Ellsbury, BOS-OF
Ichiro Suzuki, SEA-OF
Josh Willingham, MIN-OF

Yadier Molina, STL-C
Kelly Johnson, TOR-2B
Alcides Escobar, KC-SS
Carlos Lee, HOU-OF 1B
Juan Pierre, PHI-OF

Felix Hernandez, SEA-SP
Yovani Gallardo, MIL-SP
Josh Johnson, MIA-SP
Alexi Ogando, TEX-SP

Craig Kimbrel, ATL-RP
Brandon League, SEA-RP
Mark Melancon, BOS-RP
Alfredo Aceves, BOS-RP SP

Ogando will probably add RP to his positions right away in the season, as N. Feliz is expected to start.

I feel a bit Boston reliever heavy. If somebody wanted to trade 1-for-1 for an equal quality reliever from another team i'd listen.

you have a pretty good rotation as well, if Johnson comes back strong.

not very happy with my outfielders, and some of my infielders have big question marks.

An up and down first week for me.

Ellsbury to the DL with a leg injury. I pick up 9 saves and 3 holds from my relief core. My front line starters take it on the chin ('cept YoGo). My Angel players suddenly forget how to hit.

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

I forgot to start Verlander last night. But I started Timmy. Boooooooooooooooo!

p.s. Google, I feel like we've been friends for awhile now, so you should know when I type "giants", I always mean the San Francisco ones, not the NY ones.

Re: 10th Annual USCHO Fantasy Baseball League

wow. I'm in first place.

mostly because MavHockey14 didn't meet the minimum last week, but still... first place! ;)

Only 3 guys on the DL now. Cory Luebke with "elbow soreness" (calling Dr. Andrews) and 2 OF, but I picked up Jon Jay, who has been pretty good. Lorenzo Cain was probably not a good idea (even if I like him).
