Disappointing game tonight for the Hawks but I think the result will serve us well down the road.... hopefully that starts next Friday.

Time for a beer and time to plan for drinking more.

If Lowell plays like they did last night, this is going to be a heavy drinking trip.

Interesting...... DU is going to be short some guys via coach's suspension and injury. We tied British Columbia last weekend in our only exhibition game; so a hot start this coming Friday night is critical for DU. Du has a bad habit sometimes of being a 3rd period team; they like to jack around for 40 minutes; then finally awaken deep in the 3rd..... scares the crap out of me and I don't like it. See y'all at Magness Arena

That would be why, yes. Additionally, the GABF is this weekend, and they often have special brews there they bring out that weekend only. Hoping there's a couple leftovers by the time we get there Thursday afternoon.

On 10/8/12, USCHO had UML ranked #6 and DU #7 .
Then the lowly regarded Catamounts held the RiverHawks to a disappointing tie. (for UML)
Any guesses on this week's poll?

I'm sure they'll drop, but no idea how far. I think it'd be unfortunate if they fell below 10.
