In the ECAC this year Quinnipiac lead all teams in penalty minutes. Brown, a big strong and very very physical team pounded the "stuffing" out of Quinnipiac in all three of their games this year, tied them twice and beat them once 4-0. Quinnipiac never beat Brown. Brown also had a great goalie. I think the lesson here is that if St. Cloud wants to beat Quinnipiac they will need to do what Brown did and play very physical "smash mouth" hockey. Brown played very tough, clean, physical hockey all year and gained the respect of everyone in the ECAC and as you can see, did so with the least number of penalty minutes.

I don't even know where Quinnipiac is and I've lived in Connecticut for 5 years. I've been to New Haven and Lowell before. When I tell people I root for St Cloud State they look at me funny and I have to explain it's an hour northwest of Minneapolis.
Can anyone tell me how to get to Pittsuburgh?

Any interesting side stories in this game? I noticed that Hartzell and Taylor Johnson are both from White Bear Lake. Were they ever teammates? That might not be a great story anyway, as Johnson sat the last two games. Any others?
