I'd enjoy seeing AFA win this game. Having said that I don't see the Falcons being able to outscore the Eagles by two goals [or more] over the remainder of the game.

BC can't be happy only being up 1-0. Letting the little guy feel like he has a chance.

I know this game should be 4-0... but I'm still not convinced BC is the #1 team in the country. They did not impress me at that HE final last week, and they're not impressing today. They may not slip up to Air Force (fingers still crossed!), but unless they step up their game, they're going to slip up to somebody.

What they're not doing offensively, they're making up for on the other side of the ice. Even on the power play, Air Force didn't do much at all, and BC drew the penalty on a breakaway. This is one of the more solid 1-0 leads I've seen in a while. A 2-0 lead here would be insurmountable.

when we've seen AF play this year, they usually have some razzle dazzle offense, but BC has totally shut it down.

There's been a flicker here and there, but not much.

EDIT: 2 SOG for AFA in the period, 16 minutes into the 3rd.

AFA goalie Jason Torf is just completing his ophomore season. I like AFA's chances to get back to the NCAA tourney before he graduates. He's a top rate goalie.
