....and Neumann comes back against Utica with less than a minute left to score the extra-attacker goal and tie things at 5!!

MSOE 2
SNC 0

SNC up on SOG 23/13 but not generating high quality shots

MSOE First goal was traffic in front and puck got to back door. No chance for Jacobsen. Second goal was a nice PP shot.

SNC failed to convert on a major.

Near end of period SNC got called for elbow. But then a Raider decked the Knight. But the SNC a player got called for embellishment. So MSOE stayed on pp. That has :14 left to start the third

Actually Neumann score 2 EA goals at end of 3rd, one with 1:26 left and one with 0:12 left. Game ends in 5-5 tie.

At least four pucks have been in crease and SNC just can't find the handle to push it past

SNC got outplayed. MSOE made the most of its few chances and SNC could not. I think we had four shots during the major PP. Just didn't generate enough quality shots and convert. Kudos to the Raiders

MSOE played very good D tonight....passing lanes were contested all night.
Goalie Nick Kohn was strong in net.
SNC started to bring it in the 3rd period, but could only connect on the single, last minute goal.

SNC did bring it in the third. That was the problem. Very flat for the first 40 minutes and it end up costing them.
Hopefully this was a slap in the face and a kick in the ***.

A rising tide lifts all boats. If you want to beat SNC you have to recruit better and play better. SNC and, to a lesser degree CSS, have made the M/NCHA better from top to bottom.
