1/21 Who wll march to a victory?

Re: 1/21 Who wll march to a victory?

Thanks for helping to keep the tradition alive :)

Norwich takes an early lead over St. As 1-0 in the first four minutes

This is the last meeting for the foreseeable future between a pair of teams that has played many times in the past

Norwich up 2-0 after 1. SOG NU 18 - St. A's 3. On of of the St A's shots was a dump in that went on goal. St. A's doing nothing in the 1st period.

Re: 1/21 Who wll march to a victory?

SNC completes the sweep. ENG makes it 4-2 final.

Black with 39 saves, according to AC announcers... though stats show 45 saves... SNC had just 20 SOG

Re: 1/21 Who wll march to a victory?

We need a Rules Guru to settle a question. Should play be stopped if the goalie looses his stick AND his blocker?

Not according to NHL rules. It has happened in the NHL (at least with a catching glove)-

Game 5 between the Phoenix Coyotes and the Los Angeles Kings was exciting and controversial. We’re not here to talk about Dustin Brown’s knee and whether or not it clean or dirty. Instead, we’re here to analyze an incident involving Brown and Phoenix goaltender Mike Smith. As Smith was reaching to cover a puck with his glove, Brown used his stick to pry the puck loose, dislodging Smith’s glove and leaving him barehanded. Play continued with LA threatening outside Smith’s crease, leaving the goaltender exposed without his catching glove.

Should play have been blown dead? What do the official NHL rules have to say about such an incident and do we need to change the rules moving forward?

According to the NHL Rules page on the NHL’s official site, the play was supposed to continue until a normal stoppage in play, which is exactly what happened. Nothing in the rules says anything about a goaltender losing his catching glove, but it does mention a goaltender’s helmet.

I would assume the NCAA rule is the same.

Geneseo up 2-0 with two early goals. A breakaway and then email softie allowed by Jacobsen. Oswego has had a couple chances, but not able to finish.

Re: 1/21 Who wll march to a victory?

Geneseo 3-0.

Terrible pinch by the defenseman leads to a 2-1.

Like the offensive effort we are putting up, but where's the D?
2nd goal soft, bad position on the 3rd?
