1/17/15 - Mad Cows and Angry Birds! Green Mountain Men! Point me to the Falls!

Has to be these Cardinaks you speak because it doesn't sound like Cardinal hockey....turn around the rally caps bro.

I left the game already. After the "indirect contact to the head" call on an elbow that clearly targeted the head, I was done. The Cardinals aren't playing, and the refs aren't officiating, so I will respond in kind by not doing my job as a supporter.

Final in Geneva....

Hobart- 4
Nichols- 3

FINAL
Williams 6/18
Plattsburgh 3/58.

Go figure.

Williams has a better coach. With an acceptance rate of 17%, he manages to put together a winning program(without D1 transfers) most years. Goalies, especially ones who have played at high levels , have the ability to get beyond goals scored early(even soft ones) and have a decent game. That of course is not the Plattsburgh way. They have two former D1 goalies who play with the two goal limit hanging over their head. It's all about confidence. That is why when the games mean more at the end of season, I see an early Plattsburgh exit. The freshman goalie was able to hold on because he, on the other hand, had absolutely no pressure when he entered.

Williams has a better coach ? Really ? With all due respect to Mr. Kangas, you've got to be kidding, right?

Platty fans - you threw 58 shots (estimated 10 Grade A's) on net and got 3. You gave up a measly 18 and they hit 6. Thit like that happens. The important thing is to be playing the last night of the SUNYAC playoffs and get a W and not leave it to the smoke filled room.

Look at viddy, figure out what went wrong and what you did right and move on to the next weekend.

He deals with a 17% acceptance rate versus 49% and a $55,000 pricetag. He has to develope players and team chemistry, since players who can meet the above criteria are not as expendable as they are in Plattsburgh. Plattsburgh is an example of good players make good coaches. Compare player by player and you will find that Plattsburgh has deeper level of talent than Williams and most schools they play. Yet they lack consistency and will fall short.

Anyone know why Plattsburgh pulled their goalie for the last 5:56 of the game when they were down by four?
Seems pretty classless on Emery'a part.

that's a terrible argument, lets look at the teams who have the most wins in recent history, Middlebury and St. Norbert, neither are state schools who have low tuition costs, Both have good coaches, but i wouldn't argue better coaches than schools who are state schools with lower tuition costs. Emery is a better coach than Williams coach, He's a top 5 coach in DIII, don't get cocky after 1 win.
