Williams has a better coach. With an acceptance rate of 17%, he manages to put together a winning program(without D1 transfers) most years. Goalies, especially ones who have played at high levels , have the ability to get beyond goals scored early(even soft ones) and have a decent game. That of course is not the Plattsburgh way. They have two former D1 goalies who play with the two goal limit hanging over their head. It's all about confidence. That is why when the games mean more at the end of season, I see an early Plattsburgh exit. The freshman goalie was able to hold on because he, on the other hand, had absolutely no pressure when he entered.
