Given that your solution is to do nothing, and just accept mass killings of people, you must be really enjoying these recent attacks.

Every solution that is proposed, you say that it won't do any good. So we should do nothing.

Do you have something against people that you want them do die like this?

If he was going to manage to get off well over 50 more rounds before running out, then there are some serious changes that could happen with magazine limits and shooting rate changes.

That's a real solution that WOULD lower how many rounds could get off in a given amount of time, thus reducing the number of deaths.

Easy solution.

Reportedly there were 6 off duty police officers in the bar at the time of the shooting, but none of them were armed.

Sheriff said some parents have related that at least some of the off-duty officers placed themselves between the shooter and their children to shield them. That takes an enormous amount of courage and presence of mind in such a situation.

Not important in the larger scheme of things, but the Ventura County Sheriff who is the lead on this case was set to retire tomorrow, although the new Sheriff doesn't officially take office until Jan. 7. He stated the officer killed was set to retire in the next year as well.

Wrong. The solution is for us to have a better society where people don’t want to cause harm to as many random, innocent people as they can. You and others are afraid to front up to the real issue.

Well, the shooter is a former Marine, and we all know that the military is (or at least was) very serious about know your target before firing.

If this person had PTSD, what made him snap? Too much TSwift and not enough twang to the country music? Obnoxious frat bros who can't hold their liquor? Taking Mark Chesnutt's 1992 hit to heart?

Let's get to the underlying issues, yes.

I’m going to sound like some sort of hippy saying this, but I really think our current lifestyle is killing us. Too much inactivity and time in front of screens. I really have no idea how we go away from that though.

And as I've said, our mental health care system is broken in this country, ... and I've only dealt with the elderly/dementia aspects of it, not the dangerous/criminal aspects.

It turns out there is a dangerous caravan after all, it's white guys going around the country committing mass shootings.

And when you can tell me that is an actual possibility you will have a point. Since that isnt possible either come up with a real solution or shut up already. It isnt like we dont know what you really think Drew, trust us the fact you cant even parse the language of specific ideas or the fact that you spew Right Wing diarrhea every time this comes up tells everyone what they need to know about you.

Thoughts and prayers though to you and yours...must be quite the struggle.

Guns and ammo travel across state lines as easily as cars do. A majority of guns found to have been used in crimes in California come from Nevada. This is exactly why we need stronger federal laws in place.
