The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.

Minnesota was the better team today but man does this defense reek in their own end. Even with the horses they have. Not 56's best game either, though the numbers won't bear that out.
One bad weekend and suddenly 10 days of complete apathy in the thread. Now a home-and-home with the other purple squad, the last games before the winter break. Surely what just happened can't happen twice in a row. Still the #3 team in the country, for better or for worse.
The five players for Minnesota in Olympic contention have over half of the team's goals. And then there's Sarah Paul, and I have no idea how long she'll be out.
There are three Gopher alums who are head coaches in the WCHA right now. The most established on that list is Nadine Muzerall at OSU, but would she even view it as a step up? Sure the facilities are better at the U but she's done a statue-worthy job with the Buckeyes and is in national title...
I'm just saying the Snowman does not have a contract for 2026–27, and sure, you may not want to *fire* him necessarily, but I think there would be some backlash if they extended him at this point in time.
I used to be that way but it seems the majority of players want some of it, if not full-on checking then loosened rules (in contrast to the other social media issue, half-shields, which nearly everyone is smart enough not to want). Also with the PWHL being so physical and some recent high draft...
I was at the Trinity-Conn game yesterday. Trinity was the better team throughout but when Conn had their stretches of good play the puck ended up in the net, and that wasn't the case for Trinity.
Signing period starts today. Sloane Hartmetz of Shattuck, Payton Rolli of Warroad, Katya Sander of Holy Family all signed. Three more to go, we expect.
