The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Freshman Connor MacPherson will play for Nanaimo in the BCHL next season. And he will return for the 2026-2027 season, Per UNH Hockey Blog. This could possibly free up some $$ for another Dman?
Nico Tournas UNH 2006 recruit was the 12th pick in the USHL phase 2 draft, was also the first New England player chosen. Nikita Konevych UNH 2006 recruit was taken 39th. Iv'e complained that Tournas should be brought in this year but Souza's not listening. let's hope they don't lose him.
I agree Snively and that's why they're stuck as a hit or miss team with the latter being for the last ten years. The coaching staff has not developed players like they should be. In the early 2000's to maybe 2010 players advanced from year to year, Paul Thompson,Bobby Butler,Steve Saviano ect...
So it looks like more of the same as far as the portal goes..Who's left. Alex Zetterburg from BU should be a top priority but don't hold your breath. Rickwood has been mentioned, Giampa is gone to Miami. Then you have Werner from Michigan. They could use another D-men also. I wish Souza could pick...
A'lot of teams grab players for one year and Rickwood would fill a need for UNH another top 6 forward. His sister played for the women's team for five years but I guess the legacy curse continues.
I reached out to the nice guy that started the CHL to NCAA recruiting mega thread. He gives a breakdown of all 4 CHL players coming to UNH this fall. It's on page 6 if anyone's interested.
Hello Cinn. Can you give me some insight on the four CHL players going to UNH next year? Oliver had 50 goals this year, how do you think he'll adjust to the NCAA next year?
Fair enough. Hopefully Souza's been promoting the 4 new Canadian players to recruits and telling them their on the right track. But I will also go with more of the same.
It's hard to believe that Jack Sadowski only has one goal all year after all the hype. He was hurt earlier in the year and got shipped off to the BCHL. Hopefully he can find his way next year and become the player most of us thought he'd be.
