UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Not a fan of hits like that but didn’t think it was a penalty. Edit: the marques hit is clearly a penalty.

Agree with others that Rousseau should have played tonight. Nice move on the goal.

I thought they looked a lot smaller too, which they obviously are to a large degree. Maine had a couple really good stretches but they definitely didn’t dominate play the way I would have liked. I hate seeing Maine take so many big hits, especially against a much weaker team.

I forget if his was on debut but definitely early his freshman year. It was against Quinnipiac right?

Did Keith Johnson have a hat trick on debut?

Camera work is probably related to them selling alcohol now. Maine had a great five minute or so stretch but overall kind of an underwhelming period.

UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

It seems like in the last few years there have been more than a few games where it’s close to empty and I don’t really remember that in the past other than around break or something like that. They should consider splitting the balcony in half and selling one half to general public.

The new BC goalie is a massive sieve.

How’s a kid from Guagus end up playing for Bangor? Black Woods road in the winter is no fun. It’s sad across the board how down high school sports are in Maine but obviously times change.

Dump Term 2, Part 2: "A third term would be a big shattering."

I’m definitely not saying they’re delivering for voters. They’re obviously not doing that, but they certainly know how to appeal to them.

Dump Term 2, Part 2: "A third term would be a big shattering."

I think the biggest issue for the Dems are the people behind the scenes. The Republicans are so much more in touch with the country it’s frightening.

Very sorry to hear that. Hopefully something better pops up.

Thanks for posting this. It largely mirrors my thoughts on the season(I didn’t write it.) There is no doubt Maine is going to have a lot more skill but replacing what they had last year as far as work ethic and physicality will be tough. I get square peg in round hole vibes with some of the...

Drove by there a few years ago and it was sad to see it abandoned. The doco on Amazon that came out last spring is incredibly well done with lots of great footage(for the record I was never a fan of him.) I read Christopher Bell dedicated his win last night to Charlie Kirk and Sam Billings has...

Is using gospel now a pc violation? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to rhetoric, the last thing anyone needs is some knucklehead on msnbc stating his opinion as fact.

Is the guy on msnbc the arbiter of what constitutes good and bad rhetoric? If he didn’t like it that’s fine, but not really sure he should be saying it as gospel. That sort of bs has been incredibly unhelpful to our country.
