    Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2026-27

If "Things change in life everyday and thus overturn decisions", then you CANNOT make the definitive declarative statement "Claire Enright will NOT be playing for the Badgers any longer." Because "Things change in life everyday and thus [could] overturn" THAT specific decision. Learn some humility.

BuckyB would make a good TV weatherman. No matter what happens, at some point or another, he told you that was what would happen. Rain, or shine.

If you've driven across the isthmus today, or even the last few days, you have been made aware that this week is "move in week" for students moving into the dorms. First day of classes is Sept 2nd, aka next Wednesday. Yes, they know who is and is not enrolled for the fall semester.

The saying in football line play is "low man wins". Pound for pound, Mauermann could dig in the corners and come out with the puck as well as anyone. (And mentioning Mauermann reminds me of another state of Wisconsin player who hasn't been mentioned, because the two of them sat right behind me...

Jesse Vetter. Brianna Decker. Both Patty Kaz winners. Then maybe Jinnelle Sorgi, or Baylee Wellhausen, or ... Claudia Kepler merits a mention. Off the top of my head, Maddie Rowe comes to mind. Kelly Jaminski. I'm sure I'm forgetting a number of others. Edit: DUH!! Alex Rigsby. (I first read...

Minnesota Women's Hockey 2026-27: Here Comes The Boom

When the streets on the isthmus in Madison WI were laid out, they were (mostly all) named for the signers of the US Constitution. The Kohl Center's address is on Dayton St (Jonathon Dayton, of New Jersey). One block to the north of Dayton St is Johnson St. And Johnson St is a major route...

The men have a game at the KC that night vs Robert Morris. No time set yet. (The night before, Thursday, has women hockey at 7 PM, and volleyball in the Field House at 8 PM.)

Ohio State 2026-27 The Natty WILL be ours!

I didn't give Johnson the job title over Cline, Muzerall did.

Ohio State 2026-27 The Natty WILL be ours!

She'll miss maybe two regular season series in January. But she has a new "associate head coach" with no coaching experience. So, it should be OK.

Ohio State 2026-27 The Natty WILL be ours!

He appears to have no prior coaching experience. Yet "associate head coach"? That's interesting. I've heard Mark Johnson talk a number of times about how coaching women is just different...

    Wisniewski out at Ohio State

"Electrify" in a curious and interesting user; I noticed the account a couple weeks ago. It was created April 9, 2026, and if I counted correctly, the "acitivity" the web site shows for the account consists of two comments, and 16 'reactions' to other peoples' posts. Just above is the second of...

As expected, season tickets on sale this morning. A $25 'service fee' on top of the ticket price.

June 11 isn't "a couple months ago", and you gave no reason or explanation as to HOW you supposedly knew, or why we should believe you.

    Wisniewski out at Ohio State

That post makes reference to "Ohio State University's career site". That is where I had been looking. I first looked there on July 12; maybe the opening had been posted there prior to that, but was already pulled down by July 12. I don't see anything on the zip-recruiter page that indicates...

BU has their 2026-27 schedule posted, and it shows the series in Madison as being Thursday Oct 1, and Friday Oct 2. Because that is homecoming weekend, with football vs Michigan State Saturday (and possibly Sat night?) (UW Volleyball also at home on Thursday Oct 1. Dammit!)

There is a web site called "VolleyTalk", and trust me, there are a good number of UW fans posting there who feel very much that same way about what the athletic department has been doing with seating and ticket prices since the national championship in 2021.

It was, or may become, an instance of the phenomenon you were describing. When I started going to VB, they were not using the upper deck in the Field House, meaning they were not coming close to selling out just the 4K capacity of the lower seats. As the team got really, consistently good...
