The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Hosts are announced on April 18th. Have there been any rumors as to who has put in bids?
I would think 2019 would be in the east, but no idea where. I know BC hasn't bid. Don't think BU has either but can't know for sure.
I'd guess that 2020 will be Ridder just because that's how this works...
Announcement at 3:30pm CT

Hello, hockey party people --
A couple years ago I tried my hand at building a computer ranking system:

It was fun to build, but it was pretty rudimentary and had a lot of flaws (for example, all losses were treated the same by the system...

In the interest of curiosity, since it came up in a thread, select your D1 women's hockey rooting interest. Your primary team -- you can only pick one!
I can only put up to 20 options, so I did the Pairwise top 19, and swapped out a few of the bottom teams with teams I thought might be more...
IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR!
My annual Pairwise predictor is live. Instructions are self-explanatory, but basically input results in the drop downs and it will spit out the resulting Pairwise rankings.
Let me know if you have any questions or any other bug reports. And also, any interesting...

TheIceGarden.com just launched today -- it promises to be a one-stop-shop for all women's hockey coverage, including international, pros, and college. It's on the SB Nation platform (same as BC Interruption, Bucky's 5th Quarter, and The Daily Gopher), so hopefully it's got some good staying...
I interviewed Kinger to talk about the new year:

With Notre Dame bouncing for the BTHC (WOOOOO!), Hockey East has an opening and all signs point toward making a big push to get Quinnipiac.
That would obviously be a huge deal for WHEA, rounding out at 10 teams and giving a significant boost in league quality.
Any thoughts on this -- any of it...
