The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
They just played tight all game. That early PP goal threw them off. Stavroff whiffing on three backdoor shots, multiple guys missing the wide open far side pass and just trying to carry it into the zone, only getting a dozen SOG, they just were off. As they say in baseball, everyone wins 54 and...
It's a decent crowd actually. Only empty section is the one below MSUs band, everything else in the lower bowl is reasonably full, especially for a 130 puck drop.
The first abomination was moving the full opening day from Monday to the Friday before a couple of years back. By moving it up to Thursday for most teams/ those with outdoor stadiums, you can build in the off-day on Friday for possible rainouts and still have the full slate on Saturday. Taking...
Outsiders was great. Spamalot is a classic at this point, as is (obviously) Sound of Music. Beautiful Noise was well done but not my thing. Don't know anything about Water for Elephants.

They're now directing people to the arena's site for additional sales.
The committee went with a pure S-curve except for swapping #11 Cornell and #12 Wisconsin to avoid the Dartmouth-Cornell matchup on the 6-11 line.
Which is fine, but they literally didn't make a single effort to maximize attendance.
So by winning the conference and moving up in the NPI 2 slots, Dartmouth gets both a harder first round game (#9 PSU vs #12 Wisconsin), a worse potential second round game (#1 Michigan vs #3 MSU), and a farther site that would only marginally boost attendance with Penn State.
Count me as...
For seeding purposes:
Michigan, NoDak, MSU, and WMU are all locked into places 1-4 in that order.
Denver, Minn-Duluth, Dartmouth, and Providence are all locked into the 2-seed line, but final order will depend on the ECAC and NCHC finals tomorrow.
Quinnipiac, Penn State, and Cornell are all...
Princeton upsets Cornell and gives Wisconsin one more night of heartburn.
Appears to also lock Dartmouth into the 2-seed line.
Dartmouth win + Denver win = #6 NPI for Dartmouth
Dartmouth win + Duluth win = #7 NPI for Dartmouth
Princeton win = #8 NPI for Dartmouth
Nebraska finally got their first NCAA win, becoming the last power conference school to break the seal after Northwestern won a game a while back.
On one hand, that sucks as it eliminates the easiest comeback Creighton fans had against them whenever they got to big for their britches.
On the...
