The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The Athletic/NYT had a behind-the-scenes article about Muzerall and the team at the FF. The article says that Muzerall did a post-game press conference after the loss, but I haven't been able to find any record of that press conference. Anywhere. I was interested in what she had to say.
Here's...
There's a nice article in the NY Time/Athletic about Coach Johnson, and this year's team, if you can get behind the firewall.

I hope it's not a jinx.
If you call the donor site directly, you can specifically donate to women's hockey. We do this every year. Granted, they've made it a bit more difficult each year, but we've still found a way. We give our required donation to football and then we give smaller amounts to women's hockey and...
Not sure what this quote from Todd's article is all about. Does it imply that McNaughton was banged up?
"McNaughton left the bench during the second period but the circumstances were unclear beyond Johnson saying McNaughton got bumped on the bench.
"Should've kept her in," Johnson quipped."
Katie Kotlowski was in the warm ups but left the ice early and never came out for the game. Did anyone see who was injured in the third period? She skated to the bench, clearly hurt, sat on the end for a bit, then went to the locker room with the trainer. Cassie Hall, perhaps?
My husband and I were "season ticket holders of the game" today. Pretty cool being on the jumbotron! I wish they had pronounced our surname correctly, but that's a small thing
Murphy's unsportsmanship penalty occurred at the far end from us. I'm wondering if she did something? Or said something...
For some reason, I thought hockey was like football and a redshirt was still possible if a player had played in up to four games. If this would be her fourth game, she'd be okay under that rule. And that rule may not apply to hockey anyway. I should have researched before posting!
Well, I navigated to and through the new forum site, so that's a big plus for today! We are not headed to Duluth, in part because the room rates are inflated due to the national curling championships. (My husband and I curled for years, so we understand the attraction.)
