    I am not, and never was, arguing that draft picks are some telltale sign of a great team, or that drafted players pan out at a high rate compared to undrafted players. I'm simply stating that we haven't had enough scoring on our team in recent years to be competing for the Hockey East...

    Well, it certainly helps if your undrafted players have the ability to put up 50+ points in a season like Smith and Gambardella, or at least 30 like Kapla. These days, we're lucky to have one guy a year score over 20 points. We haven't had anyone hit 30 in almost 10 years now I believe, drafted...

    I feel like it's more likely Union got it wrong than UML and UNH both got it wrong, but I guess we'll have to see when UML drops their full schedule
