    Eliminating the flight makes a difference, although I’m not sure if this were a 5 hour drive from campus (meadowlands or something) that we would have had a significantly larger contingent:… although maybe we would pick up some extra drivers from NYC. Likely would have been fewer true western...

    Not sure if its been mentioned in this thread - but Jay has never not been to the Frozen 4 in his years involved with BU as both a player and now a coach. (And maybe in any years involved with NCAA Hockey?) Pretty remarkable.

    Indeed. If I’m being honest, I didn’t have is tabbed as the last hockey east team standing. Denver looks like they will be tough for anyone to beat.

    I hate this - I know this is just how the NCAA does it now - but who in their right mind at the NCAA would ever think the way to maximize viewership and attendance would be to have the game in the middle of a work / school day. So lame.

    This was my experience too. Works well for me since I can’t go Friday regardless of if BU wins or loses. I do seem to remember in the past it being a package deal - but maybe I’m misremembering.

    I think it’s always been a full package thing… kind of annoying but I’d get why they do it that way. I haven’t seen my email yet - will have to email the ticket office tomorrow.
