The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I live a little over an hour south of there (Twin Falls). Go through quite a bit on my way to go over a mountain pass and into an area I like to fly fish in. It can be a neat area. Its blue, but I would call it more the Clinton type "liberals". Lots of money. That big Allen and Co conference in...
What area? If its Sun Valley, that is an interesting one. Wealthy, but has voted Dem president since 1992 with 58-67% since 2004. Panhandle region especially around Couer d'Alene has some wealth but will be more conservative for sure. Boise area can be a mixed bag. Still votes consistently for...
As a current Idaho resident, I cannot agree more with that 2nd statement. I have also had so many facepalm moments when these chuckleheads talk about how much they love going into the mountains or the desert or whatever and enjoying nature, and then turn around and vote for people who will...
Was just looking at where fires are in Utah. The big one, Monroe Canyon, is just west of the Pando. The Pando is an Aspen grove that is believed to be the world's largest tree by weight and landmass as the entire 106 acres it covers is one root system supporting a multi-stem tree where each stem...
Relative of the shooter says he suffers from mental illness. White, veteran, mental illness, using his 2A option. He'll probably get medal.
Something similar just happened in Idaho where a man, Ben, suffering from mental illness (schizophrenia among other things), also shot and killed 4...
4 dead after a shooting in a bar in Anaconda, Montana. Suspect, a veteran, is at large and of course considered armed and extremely dangerous. They have no idea where he may have fled.
The main things I remember from that episode are James crashing his car less than like 100 yards from where they start. And that absolutely insane thing that Clarkson drives. And putting chandeliers on it
I heard part of a podcast somewhere where the guest or someone had also worked with the same producer that Clarkson punched (which ultimately lead to his firing). This person said that the producer is a GIANT douchebag and he was not surprised it happened. Apparently, there is more to the story...
Also, Clarkson's Farm on Amazon is worth a watch if you like the Grand Tour type of humor. I didn't think season 4 was quite as good as it seemed to focus a bit too much on his efforts to open a pub but still had some great moments.
Grand Tour is on Amazon. If you have a Roku there is a live TV channel on their live TV guide that is just old Top Gear. There are some of the new cast mixed in, and they don't show all of the old episodes but there are still some good ones.
Their drive up the mountain in Carnage a Trois is one of my favorite bits of their entire Top Gear/Grand Tour run. Right up their with their first attempt at making aquatic cars.
Technically, that is a Grand Tour episode. A Scandi Flick. It's also the one where James wrecked his Evo when he slammed it up against a wall in a tunnel at 75 mph.
1990. The A's last hosted in 1987, but not since...for obvious reasons. The Blue Jays last hosted in 1991. Baltimore (1993) and Boston (1999) are next longest since last host. Tampa Bay has never hosted. Unless they get a deal set and build a new park, I doubt they ever will. Even if they get...
Looks like they look at it more by year, or rather did. The White Sox hosted in 1983, so 50 years. And again in 2003, 70 years. 2033 would be good but yeah, I could see them dropping the ball on that.
Was he the one that basically claimed that all good things that have ever happened were done by christians and never any bad things? And that atheists have never been charitable or something like that?
Seeing my favorite band, Wilco, in August in Utah. Got tickets to that before they announced shows in Jackson, WY, and Missoula, MT. But price was good and there is some other stuff I like to to do the Salt Lake area. I don't go to a lot of concerts but this will be my 9th time seeing them but I...
