The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The 1st ten minutes was tough, as we were unable to have any sustained puck possession. The last 10, we started to figure things out, get some offensive zone time and are putting pucks on the net.
Initial impressions of Cornell - very different team this year. Not the typical heaving hitting, clog-up the neutral zone, boring hockey. These guys are fast, skilled with crisp passing.
The 1st 10 minutes of the game were rough with UNH faster and beating us everywhere. The PP goal seemed to wake us up and it felt even after that and I was staring to think this may be a special teams game. But the last 2 UNH goals was poor defense allowing in tight uncontested shots.
Heading to the game tonight - will try to give some in-person thoughts during the game. Will be my 1st time seeing the boys in person. Hoping they can carry over the Clarkson game goodness to this one!
