The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
It is and isn't Norwich's fault. All schools in the LE were forced to use it, like it or not. BTW, even with Boxcast you could watch the low quality broadcast free. HUDL has them all beat.
You know, I understand maybe losing votes in the poll is not what you want, but we all know it is nothing more than a popularity contest and means nothing. Sitting third in the NPI is the big thing.
That is what many feel about D1 as well. Look at soccer last season, the "Big Conferences" fans felt that way about the America East and others. Gues what, UVM out of the America East won the national championship. Every athlete deserves a chance to be a champion.
Ummm, The NPI is all that determines at large bids and also determines the seeding. Conference champions get automatic bids and may be seeded below an at large bid depending on again, the NPI. Polls mean absolutely nothing. They are for nothing more than an opinion.
Well, I think college hockey has been great right along. Every team has its down years and when one drops, others take over. Ask Middlebury, Plattsburgh and others. The sport was great when they are in the cellar. It obviously is better for Norwich when they have a good team. Your statement...
They should at least have an app for Roku and streaming devices like they do for D2 championships. But of course, D3 gets to watch games on a computer screen unless you are savy enough to know how to stream it.
