The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Cadets got three points last weekend and did the baseline of what they needed to stay in control of a home quarterfinal game. However, this weekend starts the string of six straight games against three teams nipping at their heels in the standings looking to move up into those top four spots...
There is a rotation and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been west since 2019 due to the two covid years and then three straight years in the East (Endicott, Lake Placid, Trinity).
It's supposed to go to the other region at least once every four years.
Massive weekend for the Cadets at Babson for two. Getting at least 3 points would go a long way in trying to stay in the top 3 in the standings. Anything less could put them down a path towards needing to fight tooth and nail just to lock in a home quarterfinal game with Salve, Albertus and...
Salve Regina is leaving the CCC to join the NEWMAC for primary membership.
Newmac doesn’t sponsor hockey and only has Babson and Salve as primary members now. Norwich is an associate for football.
Will the CCC allow Salve to stay for just hockey or is Salve looking for a new home?
MCLA has announced the return of men's hockey and starting up its first women's hockey varsity program in 2023-24.

I know Stevens Point 2019 team is the lone undefeated team in D3 history and that team will forever be special in its own right.
However, this Adrian team going 31-1-0 with 31 straight wins is one of the most impressive things I’ve seen or read about.
Outscored it’s opponents 39-14 in 7 games...
Heck of a first day so far with US/Slovakia as the night cap. Sweden beat Russia 6-3, Canada trailed 3-1 in the first to Czechia, but scored 5 straight to win 6-3.
Finland beat Germany 3-1.
Slovakia looks very very skilled early against the US. What a brutal group US drew this year even after...
I know this board's traffic is all but gone nowadays...but in case people are not friends with him on facebook or hadn't seen the news yet, PSUChamps2001, aka Remy Babineaux passed away recently due to COVID complications.
He leaves behind a wife and three young kids...
The NCAA announced today that for 2021, all winter and spring championships will be conducted at 75 percent standard capacity with the lone caveat that all automatic bid conferences would still be granted access if that number was greater than 75 percent of the standard field. For D3 men's ice...
Pretty cool story that is starting to pick up a lot of steam here with two UMass Boston men's hockey players that are roller blading from Boston to Michigan (900 miles) over the next 10 days raising money for the American Cancer Society.
I first heard about it last week and now its been...
With St. Thomas’ departure from the MIAC, St. scholastica will be replacing them as a full-time member. Makes a lot of sense given their location in Duluth.
I know this board has become a little stagnant but maybe during this time some people will be reading or circle back more.
What are you looking forward to from your respective team in 2020-21?
What returning players excite you, what do you think your conference and nationwide outlook look...
USA with a brutal draw this year to try and medal for the fifth straight year.
USA, Canada, Russia, Czech Republic (host) and Germany up for first time in five years.
Czech just beat Russia 4-3.
USA with a stern opening test at 1pm eastern with Canada.
Your school’s All-Decade Team
What’s your school’s All-Decade Team?
3 forwards, 2 defensemen, 1 goalie
I’ll compile thoughts on Norwich later today. Pretty set on 3 forwards and goalie. One forward spot was tough. Having a hard time deciding on defensemen though right now...

Alright, I’m determined to get to the bottom of this. How do the Nike exclusive schools get Nike hockey jerseys when Nike doesn’t make hockey jerseys anymore. What company is providing the jerseys and allowing a Nike logo to get slapped on it without their logo?
