UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Curious to know what they do about the fish when the goal is called back. Has it ever happened before?

UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Conmy was the decoy on the Hagens 2 on 1 goal that put BC up by 2 early in the third period. His presence gave the opening for Hagens to score so he did have an impact without getting on the scoreboard.

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Amazing that at present they are in the tournament at #15 following those 2 losses to PC. However, they are just as close to 22nd as they are to 14th, so they desperately need to go on a run of wins right through the Beanpot.

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

I know it was just an exhibition and BC looked very good but it is concerning as to who did not play. Jellvik and Gasseau were still out. Also Hemming, Moore and Traeger did not play leading to a 2 man 4th line. Skahan interestingly was seen playing a forward just like Michael Hagens has done...

    Contenders and pretenders

This is not the same BC team that lost to Quinnipiac, Northeastern, Denver and Maine. They played Western Michigan without four of their top 6 forwards and a top defenseman too. At those times they were more like a one line team but with everyone back they put out 4 lines capable of scoring at...

UMass Lowell 2025-2026: Youth will be served

The rest of Hockey East is wishing UML the best out there. The league needs wins against teams like Minnesota State to boost the conference as a whole. If your team that scores 4 or more shows up, you will get a win. If the one that gets 0 or 1 comes then a loss results. It is hard to pinpoint...

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Seriously you can only play who you are scheduled. Although BC has all their losses to top 15 teams in the poll, they have not lost to anyone below 15th. All the other teams they have lost to have had head scratcher losses. The next month will tell a lot about where BC stands with games against...

They also have not lost to anyone bad either unless you want to consider Maine bad.

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Hagens has looked very good on faceoffs at the WJC. Not sure if that is because of the younger players there compared to more seasoned older competition in college. He has been logging the most ice time of all forwards by about 2 minutes a game with shifts close to a minute apiece. Stiga is...

Cloutier not dressed for the LSSU game. Korec in net.

Definitely a lot like Hutsko in regards to injuries in his senior year. Another that comes to mind is Dave Spina in his junior year. I believe he had a high ankle sprain which takes forever to heal.

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

They actually do still have 2 huge non-conference games left that they need to win. Today against LSSU which is their only CCHA opponent and with 4 CCHA teams wrapped around BC in the NPI this game is huge. Also, the Beanpot vs. Harvard with a win that is also immense to bring them to a winning...

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Good and more bad news about the line-up tonight. Big surprise is that Hemming is in the line-up. The bad news is that both Jellvik and Gasseau are still out. https://hockeyeastonline.com/pdf/20251228/bcm.pdf has the line chart.

World Junior and Spengler Cup Rosters to deplete some College teams over the next week

The Spengler Cup ends December 31 so I wonder if those players would be back from Switzerland for games 2 days later. The World Juniors will play on through that next weekend. Looking at those lists besides BC and Wisconsin, Michigan State will also be impacted a lot as well. Notre Dame will be...

World Junior and Spengler Cup Rosters to deplete some College teams over the next week

No word on whether BC gets back Forwards Oscar Jellvik or Andre Gasseau for the tournament from injuries either. Hopefully all these losses for both teams do not set up a BC-Wisconsin third place game.

Frozen Four Tickets - Priority Purchase Process

Too bad it took such a runaround to get your information, but it appears that one never loses their priority level except perhaps priority A if one does not maintain perfect attendance. Maybe a priority A attendee can confirm if perfect attendance is still required or if it is just a set number...

World Junior and Spengler Cup Rosters to deplete some College teams over the next week

Not every team that loses players to these two tournaments have games scheduled but some that do have very significant losses. Please post what you know about your team here. For Boston College they are down 3 stars: Forwards James Hagens and Teddy Stiga to the WJC Team USA and Defenseman Luka...

    BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Does he become eligible right away after enrolling or after the first day of the second semester on January 12th? Also does anyone know for certain how he qualifies under the 26 man limit as BC is at 26. I don't believe anyone was given a waiver as they started with 26 not more. Is it possible...

UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Actually in that scenario PC gets in as only Atlantic Hockey is not in the top 16 so an autobid by someone else would get PC at 14 and the Hockey East winner at 15. However looking closely at the NPI there is little difference between 9 and 19 as it is almost as close as 8 is to 9. Lots of room...

Northeastern 2025-26: After Hours at the Old Barn

Maybe during the 3rd period, the two schools' fans should get together and chant the infamous BU chant for BC. That would be a fitting ending to the building.
