The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I don't follow Maine that closely so really not sure what is going on. It is strange though because it has been beaten into us that facilities produce winning and with the new back ice areas finished this year for hockey, the equation does not correlate.
With 6 games remaining, lets say best case is a split this weekend, a SO win vs PC or UMass and the rest losses. That gets you 6 points and to 26. NU and MC already have 26 and you lose the tie breaker so best case is 8th. You need Lowell to lose out along with Maine and VT to lose out with...
I think what is lost in all of this is the play of Chauvette. The stats don't reflect his performance. He gives up 6 last week to PC but none are his fault with poor D play. Last night the first goal he had no chance as Fitzy just let the guy hang out for the goal. I know we all love SOG...
Good win tonight. The first 5 minutes were what I thought it would be, minus the goals. I think they played prevent defense until the 3rd, but a win is a win. Can this carry into a win tomorrow? Don't forget 6pm start tomorrow which will go well with the US Men's game ending at the same time.
I have not heard anything and the lineup is not out yet. I don't expect him back this weekend. He mentioned 2 weeks so suspect the target is next weekend. He was still in the sling last week.
I think the best chance for a win would be tomorrow after Saturday and what I hope is a new found energy, but have pause for concern after BU got smashed on Monday in the final. I think the first 5-8 minutes will tell the game. I expect UNH to come out on fire, pressure, and a lot of shots...
They are usually scheduled for upstairs but I think the amount of people forced them to do it in the stands. Either way it will be the same boring content.
Umile used to do a weekly show and it was well attended. There are other STHs too that I am sure would like to hear from the coach other than the paid NESN spot when UNH is on TV
He definitely won’t be there. It will be 4 or 5 guys in row 1 in the section by the bench and no real questions will be asked. It’s not on the players. It’s on MS7.
Hopefully I won't have to go to detention for posting after the imposed curfew from the NH State Hospital resident, but I find this true to form
Email from UNH Marketing on February 2nd is below. Well, let's see they play Boston University on Friday the 13th and UMass on the 21st. According...
The Beanpot is a big game for 3 of HE teams. There really is not an attitude towards him, we expressed what we have been told but Porta Potty's man crush won't let it go.
Looks like the mental institution you live in gave you extra computer time today. Is there any point you will stop making $hit up? No one said he did not play well against the boards last night or that his BC teammates don't like him.
Well, you got me, King Conmy is now in the top 174 in...
I am going to go out on a limb and not predict wins (my 3-2 UNH win crashed) but I do think we will see some different looks the rest of the season. I don't expect a greater success but think if there is a change in play or mentality, I will take that as a win for the rest of the season. Time...
