    Who's next for a move up to D1?

    This would be great! But having lived in Oklahoma recently for 10 years and being the only person in the bar watching the Frozen Four, I have my doubts. I saw more interest in Olympic curling than for any hockey. However, the Tulsa Oilers do get a decent turnout.

    I view rankings much the same as you. Polls don't mean much at the start and do have embedded bias even as the season progresses. However mathematical algorithms can be misleading early on also. But as time progresses they acquire more validity. At the start they are just win/loss records...
