The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
And it belongs to..... UConn??

Fun With Numbers 2019: PWR, RPI, KRACH, GRaNT, WCHODR, & other assortments of letters
Starting a new thread to combine all the numbers related things
So turns out the RPI thing appears to have been rejected, which means I'm about 20% happier than I was this weekend...
NEWHA announced that it's becoming a conference today. Shooting for a tournament autobid starting in 2021-2022. Schools will be offering scholarships and are already in the works scheduling non-conference games with other D-1 teams...
This is an absolute masterpiece. Put together by @TitleIXHockey, who's a pretty well-respected WIH voice in the Twitterverse.

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR!
My annual Pairwise predictor is live. Instructions are self-explanatory, but basically input results in the drop downs and it will spit out the resulting Pairwise rankings.
Let me know if you have any questions or any other bug reports. And also, any interesting...
We've reached the date where all of the teams have played two different opponents, and so the Pairwise can now be fully calculated!
My Pairwise calculator is live, and it is the only Pairwise on the internet that includes all of the eligible teams...
The new season's rankings are now posted! Obviously the sample sizes at this point make them not all that useful (same as KRACH), but here is the link nonetheless. I'll keep it in my signature as well...
It's that time of year! Send in your preseason ballots. I'll be posting on Wednesdays again this year.
Here's the final poll I compiled last year, I think it might have been the last week of the regular season or something.
Thought I'd compile a list of all the players centralizing with the national teams and missing the season. Definitely going to need some help, though. Did I miss anyone? I only looked at USA and Canada although I don't know if anyone else centralizes anyway.
Boston College (2): Megan Keller...
We have an exhibition in less than two weeks (?!!) on Friday 9/22 against a Canadian team whose identity I am not sure of at the moment... yayyyyyyyy hockey
Hosts are announced on April 18th. Have there been any rumors as to who has put in bids?
I would think 2019 would be in the east, but no idea where. I know BC hasn't bid. Don't think BU has either but can't know for sure.
I'd guess that 2020 will be Ridder just because that's how this works...
Announcement at 3:30pm CT
