The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Interesting quote from that Sun article:
We have 4 incoming players from Major Junior, as well as Ahearn from Niagara. Defensemen August Classon and James Johnson are both '04s so they have to come in this season. So there's 7. So does that mean out of the remaining 14 commits, only one more...
While I think the portal is a good idea, this is just crazy. I get the AIC kids, but 10 from Northern Michigan and Merrimack, 9 from Omaha. Wow. And it's just starting.
Going back to MBB, knowing that the roster was bare at this point, Lowell has been busy. They've picked up a commitment from PG Darrel Yepdo, St. Michael's (Northeast 10). He averaged 14.9 PPG last year, will be a Senior.
They made offers to three JUCO kids.
PG Asjon Anderson (would be a...
40 shots on goal. Nice to finally see something that resembles an attack. Good win by the team, and at least get one more game. It was wonderful to see the freshmen step up and they really seemed extremely happy to get the win.
I'm trying to convince myself that I want to go to the game on Wednesday, and having little luck.
Up until last season, I had never left a game early. Last season I did it a couple of times in the second period, and I did the same on Friday night after the second. I don't mind losing, I do have...
After a 3-25 season, WBB Coach Denise King has been let go by Lowell. The team got worse each year winning 11 in her first season, then 5, 4 and now 3.
So now we're up to 25 goals in 13 games since returning from CA, which made me curious on one thing. This is the list of our top 5 in points this season, and what they have since getting back from CA.
Cole: 2-6-8 in 13 GP
Buttazzoni: 0-3-3 in 9
Truman: 1-2-3 in 13
Vaarwerk: 3-4-7 in 13
Bentley...
From how quiet this thread is with a huge series starting tonight, I'm guessing there's not much hope left in the fanbase for this season. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the home game Saturday night (Revs home opener). I'll be at the Senior Night festivities next Friday at least.
23 goals in the 12 games since coming back from Palm Springs. The offense has disappeared (hell, that's actually worse than last year's total of 2 GPG). The offensive prowess of the first half of the year is proving to be a fluke at this point.
Another bad loss. Just disappointing. Last night's results actually improved our PWR to #11. Will see what this loss does (and how other results go tonight).
Good win for MBB today, finally. They're currently 6th in AE (out of 9) and have four games left, all against teams in front of them, as they play teams ranked 1, 2, 3 and 5 in league play (2 at home, 2 on the road). Lowell is 5-7 in league play, one game behind the teams currently tied for 4th...
Only one game for Lowell this weekend, Saturday at Providence. Lowell won their first game down there 1-0 just a few weeks ago. With UConn off last weekend, Lowell jumped them in the HE standings with their win on Saturday against Northeastern, and moved into 4th. Currently we are 1 point ahead...
There are also some rumors that there are issues within the team that were known at least a month ago and Duquette did nothing about it. He also signed a long term extension in April of 2023, so he's probably not going anywhere soon. I've already noted though that next year could be an utter...
