The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Just a different incarnation of the usual cannon-fodder. IMO.
The MASAC hasn't advanced past the 1st round in forever, if memory serves, yet, every year, there it is, taking a berth away from a much better team.
So why is it granted an AQ, yet again? Oh yeah, "tradition"...
Makes about as...
The Tampa deal sounds a bit more reasonable, especially if they fed you. ( Seafood, maybe?)
Just the same, I could never eat at any Maine Regional that I ever attended.
My guts churned too much to dine. I was a nervous wreck, even though Maine won every one of those games.
I'd like to think...
Having driven around that region for a lot for years, I'd take the flight to Philly and drive up from there, as opposed to getting out of Newark, which is a parking lot half the time. The flight to either one might be pretty much the same price..?
But, yeah, it has a lot to do with time of...
OK, bowl-head, let's review...
I have already stated that I'm not a Dem, and never have been.
But, I'm not a moron, either.. Hope that clears things up.
Keep on winning, President Musk! Chuckie LOVES the idiotcracy.
Best matchup in the first round (IMO) would be Genny and Trine. Cortland/Hamilton should be a good one as well. I'd expect UNE and SNC to advance.
The entire bracket looks like fun, actually. Hope that the games I'm most interested in are streamed.
Looks to me that the Q is easily the best team in the ECAC, but the silly AQ's are always an issue.
As has been alluded-to, all Maine has to do is to sweep this weekend.
Not easy, but doable. I expect a balls-out effort from the Bears.
Good God, you're really as stupid as advertised if you think your orange turd and his South African boss are making the least bit of sense...
But, having said that, I sincerely apologize to the bulk of UHN fans who are here for the hockey chat. I just saw fat Chuckie genuflect to his moron...
He did, and that was key.
Maine is in great shape right now. (And I want nothing at all to do with UConn, going forward. That's a very solid team.)
Having said that, what Maine fan in his right mind is going to bitch and moan about where the Bears are presently?
I'm delighted about being a...
Well there's that...
Honestly, I've been to many barns, and I've never seen a lousier venue than The Cooler, even when including the HS arenas.
It's a god-awful place to attempt to watch a game, case closed. Hobart deserves better.
Yeah, I can't figure out all the angles, either.
But I'd have to guess that opting out might save a school a buck or two, or that opting in with a bunch of promising recruits
coming next year would make more sense in the short term..?
Somebody give an old man a little help here.
I've never even heard of a "taunting" penalty in hockey.
It's common knowledge that the boys rarely ask about each-others' mamas when in a scrum.
That stupid shit needs to go away yesterday. Call physical penalties, period.
"Siicks and stones"...
(Whatever, friends and foes alike...)
Huge win tonight just the same. Utica is in the driver's seat in the UCHC, but, of course, even a Brockport could displace a deserving team from anywhere via the asinine conference tournament AQ thing.
So,so stupid
Turnabout was fair play last night. I...
