The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
This sounds right. Man I miss that guy, still my favorite player.
Team did what they should have which was defeat an inferior team. I think they are going to take some time to get into a groove, but once they do I think the sky is the limit. They look like they have nearly unlimited potential.
Regarding student tickets, when I was there (2016-20, Gendron era) you just flashed your MaineCard at the front door and they handed you a paper ticket. My friends and I always got there early, usually were first in line, didn't want to risk not getting the seats we always sat in for every game...
Regarding Kariya, he has been pretty public on the record about his disdain for hockey since his retirement, stemming from his issues with concussions. He says he dosen't even remember the legendary goal he scored in the 2003 Finals against the Devils. So maybe that has something to do with it...
Single game tickets went on sale 15 minutes ago. They are already nearly sold out for all the conference games. I can't even get a single ticket for myself to any HE game at this moment.
I agree with this. And in the event of an injury, I think Nobes would be the next man up. But I think the collection of seven of Holt, Djurasevic, Chabrier, Userau, Langlois, Coughlin, and Peterson will the the standard D lineup otherwise.
Maine gets their first(?) '09 commit.

It was collegepucknxt, they did a post about Maine's lineup and pipeline back on July 2. Normally I like what they post but I agree that I found that lineup a bit suspect.
Regarding the lineup, I saw a page on Instagram trying to do a "preview", and this is what they had:
Freel-Lipinski-Nadeau
Gerrior-Komarov-Russell
Fowler-Scott-Poirier
James-Scholle-Peluso
Extras: Marques, Pichette, Calafiore
Holt-Djurasevic
Chabrier-Userau
Coughlin-Peterson
Extras: Langlois...
Good thread title Ray, similar to what I was gonna go with!
Similarly, I also hoping for a few extra wins at the end of the season this year, preferably four of them. I'm also very interested in how CHL guys will translate to NCAA; many team's fortunes hang on this, not just Maine's, so will be...
They must be negotiating something with Colgate. HC, QU, DU, and Lindenwood have all officially released their schedule, while 'gate has only released their ECAC schedule.
If the entire OoC schedule was all creampuff games, then it would make sense that you could say that they want to have a soft OoC schedule to pump up that PWR for the end of the year. Or on the contrary, if the entire schedule was full of top tier teams, then you could say you know they want to...
While I do think its likely that this leaked schedule will turn out to be the actual schedule, I'm waiting until its officially announced by the team to pass any judgment.
I always thought that the last weekend of the regular season should be designated as Rivarly Weekend and locked in on a yearly basis, with ME-NH alternating hosts and the rest doing the usual home-and-home. Something like UMO-UNH, BC-BU, UML-MC, UMASS-UCONN, PC-NU, with UVM idle (sorry Vermont...
UNHs schedule out. Playing Maine 2x in Orono on December 5/6. First year in quite a while without a trip to Durham on the schedule for the Black Bears.
