The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Three on three overtime is the worst. Play 10 minutes, five on 5 and call it a day. Shootouts are way too individualistic in a game that is very team oriented .
It is to be expected that we're going to not play it as well defensively with those two guys sick. Lots of good film to teach with for the rest of the guys who are healthy.
Aren't there some Mexican cheeses that get baked?
Agape Ranch will be done in a month. MJ said in an interview with the Wisconsin State journal that he will keep coaching as long as he's enjoying everything and his family is healthy enough to allow him the time to coach.
The early signing period opens today. TDM thinks Solomon, Jette and Stout will be signing. Other possibilities if guys move up a year are Uhlenkamp, Zajic, Orpana. Solomon is projected to score 79 pts in the ushl this season and Jette 69.
Interesting info on Ms. Tremblay....She wore the C. She has scored the 4th most points in the history of the Canadian U18, trailing only Poulin, Cournoyer and Rattray and tied for 2nd in most goals, only 1 behind Poulin. This info via The Hockey News. It will be good to get a top end Canadian...
You want a discernable difference between the lines. That creates match-up differences that creates more scoring. A crazy idea that just popped in my head is you force teams to play all 12 F's and 6 D a certain percent of the game. It's impossible to legislate (maybe with these fitness...
I'm not as concerned about the goalie contact as I am about the bush league physicalness of your team in the 3rd period. I do think the refs nailed your guys on most of it, although late in the 3rd period your guy got away with contact to the head on a Badger behind the cage. That Badger...
Y'all are so shy these days......
Kato at TWSNBN - Meh
UMD at ST T - I don't think the Tommies are ready for prime time.....or are they?
UW at St. Cloud - Has the last place team in any league in the history of college hockey in either gender been ranked 10th or higher after playing 12 games...
3-1 against the UM's and the loss was easily preventable and a great learning opportunity. I can live with that. I REALLY want to torch tOSU. Beat them down.
Oh the Tommettes fail to fully capitalize this last weekend. A 5-0 game 1 win was followed up by 2-1 loss in which they did outshoot BSU by almost a 2:1 margin. They could have jumped MSU and tied UMD for 4th with UMD visiting them next.
