Of note, Alaska’s campaign laws require PACs to disclose their donors publicly. So that’s why we know it’s almost exclusively outside Alaska interests playing the ads. It was part of the RCV initiative and the reason why Musk and company are spending millions to try (yet again) to repeal it.

“Mary Peltola elected Senator. Taxes Raised! Businesses Closed! Unemployment through the roof!”

As if that isn’t going on right now.

Yes. It’ll be close. It’s just a matter of turnout really.

There are some outside groups trying to paint Peltola as some “Republican lite” as an effort to split votes, but she’s really not. She’s really moved more to the left for this election.

I think I’m the one of the few left who doesn’t have you blocked for silly shit like this. Kep said “we”, meaning Democrats, including Peltola. If a Mamdani candidate could win in Alaska, yeah, I’d want Mamdani. So would Kep. Voters didn’t want a Mamdani candidate. They wanted Peltola. Peltola >>>>>>>>> any Republican. No Republican is moderate anymore, not with MAGA in charge. All of us know this, including you. I find it interesting when you say you’re not sure candidates like El-Sayed should be representing Democrats in swing states…but Democratic voters voted for him. If the wind stays at Democrats’ back this fall, I would argue it’s the perfect time for electing Democrats like El-Sayed. Time will tell.

That last poll is encouraging, 53-45 Brown from Fox. Brown needs to consistently stay at or above 50 in any future polls to have a shot. 47.8-47.2 is going to finish 50-48 Husted as Republicans “come home” on Election Day if that aggregate stays relatively the same.
