The latest attack ads against Troy Jackson

Troy Jackson is a "politician" (said in a snotty tone) - as opposed to Susan who has just been in the US Senate for 30 years.
Troy Jackson "likes to keep in it the family" - as opposed to the child rapist war criminal who wants to fuck his daughter.
Troy Jackson committed fraud (based on a 2023 story by Maine Wire (which is only slightly better than Weekly World News)) - which is rich considering the sheer tonnage of documented fraud committed by this administration.

Keeping it in the family is Troys son made money as a lobbyist and convinced Troy how to vote on some issue. Susans Husband has been lobbying longer than Troys son has been alive.

Ah. I turn the ads off as soon as I see/hear them. Any criticism of Troy is laughable considering his opposition...
 
Suzies latest radio ad and it ends with Suzie saying she approves this message of Troy taking dark money and is just another dirty politician. What does that make her besides the Queen of dark money?

I'm certainly not a Mike Johnson fan, but on the flip side, i'm not sure the DSA solution of government owns housing and universal rent control are really the solution either.

I was glad to see that even in these polarized times they were able to get the bipartisan housing bill passed.
 
JJ wasn't kidding, the ads in Alaska are a riot. You'd think they are their own country up here, trying to out-do each other with who the "real" Alaskan is, putting "Alaska First", and kvetching about do-nothing career politicians funneling your tax dollars south.

Can't completely avoid seeing them either, unless you're in the bush.

And that's to say nothing about the Begich clan's nepotism, lmao. Reminds me of the Levins in Michigan.

Alaska Primary Election is today. It’s an open, jungle primary with the top 4 moving onto the General Election.

Most of the races are not really important because of that. The only real interesting one is the race for Governor as there’s a ton of candidates, especially on the Republican side.
 
Don’t have full results from the Alaska Primary but there are some interesting results.

In the Senate race Mary Peltola leads Dan Sullivan 48% to 42.8%. The other two in Top 4 are the other Dan Sullivan with 2.4% and another Democrat named David Leslie with 1.1% (though Leslie is being largely funded by suspicious money from outside Alaska sources, probably from Republicans as a spoiler).

The House race has Nick Begich leading by a wide margin because no one else can really get their shit together.

Governor race is really interesting. Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins or JKT leads over Democrat Tom Begich 21.7% to 20.1% with two Republicans, media personality and nut job Bernadette Wilson with 10.5% and former shitshow Anchorage Mayor Dave Bronson with 8.4%. It’s an interesting Top 4 in a loaded field, not surprising to see the whack job Republicans leading and Begich and JKT aren’t really as well. I have apprehensions about JKT because he has a lot of donations from Anthropic AI people, to the point he’s earned the nickname ChatJKT. Wilson and Bronson are both worrying though I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a deal for one of them to drop out.

Look, just because the entrenched so-called "Democrat strategists" are as out of touch with America as any other entrenched politician, you can't use the fact that they're on the wrong side of the issues to denigrate us telling you that it's important to support Democrat candidates, no matter who they are. Like us saying that is some sort of naivete.

Maybe if we do, then these lame Democrat strategists an go the way or their equally lame Democrat candidates, and then we can actually accomplish something.

Whining about the fact that the establishment wants to protect their favored status(gee, who knew?) doesn't do any good, and you just come off as a pissy bitch.
