The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
This makes me so sad. She played Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light when she was, like 7 or 8. And you could tell she had oodles of talent. I always get a kick out seeing young actors on soap operas really do well and she was one of those. I feel so sorry for her daughter. And her family. What a loss.
Just read a little about this. Dr Jobe himself is the one who decided to call it Tommy John surgery. He credits a lot of the success to Tommy John's own dedication to rehabilitation and the fact that it actually worked for him. Dr Jobe actually didn't publish his findings for 12 years after he first performed the surgery. He spent that time performing it on others and trying to perfect it. The next 7 guys he did it on, never returned to baseball.
