For the Beantown folk out there. Jeff "Monoman" Conolly, best known as the frontman for Boston garage rock band Lyres.

Don't remember much of the show, as most shows I saw from that period in that club were just drunken rave-fests , but did see Lyres once back in the day at the great Portland punk club Geno's.

Somebody has to carry that for their whole life. How horrible.
 
So not a crash the result of the racing. Those are horrible, but I mean, sometimes bad things happen in sport.

A crash because a dumbass driver entered the closed off race course. Which is intolerable, no excuse for it.
