It's actually a really nice place to watch a hockey game (when the lobby isn't flooded).Sound like a very professional venue

The Kern Center is by far my favorite opposing team arena to visit. It makes me wish that SNC had a pep band and that the new rink would have a much lower capacity. It's a good venue... pipes burst because of the extreme cold is all
Been to Kern a while ago, when Frozen Four was in Milwaukee. Nice place to watch from. The Kern Center is by far my favorite opposing team arena to visit. It makes me wish that SNC had a pep band and that the new rink would have a much lower capacity.
Epic. You win the Internet this weekend.Knights take care of game 1 (or is it game 2 and game 1 is tonight?) after an overnight rain delay. Both teams came to play this morning and were very physical.
Beats me... so many chances but just can't find the back of the net.SNC leads 1-0 after 2. It should be 2-0 as the Knights scored a power play goal, but after a very lengthy discussion it was disallowed for offsides. No call on the ice and no ability for video review. Not sure how you can disallow it at that point![]()
I thought it was offsides when I saw it live, but without an immediate whistle I don't see how you can change the call. Oh well.Beats me... so many chances but just can't find the back of the net.
After looking at the replay on Boxcast... that is way too close to overturn without replay assistance. What a crock of, pardon my French, shit. Robbery of three points right there.
Really trying to start another bickering contest with Nubs? On one hand, it is a source of entertainment. On the other hand, it definitely pollutes the thread.God forbid if Utica complained of a call, right @Sir Nubs ?
I thought SNC was the better team most of the weekend as well, and like our chances as the 3 or 4 seed in the conference tournament.I thought it was offsides when I saw it live, but without an immediate whistle I don't see how you can change the call. Oh well.
St Norbert looked like the better team for the majority of both games and comes out of it with 1 point in the conference standings. Story of the season so far.
If it's any consolation, Nubs is never on this thread so I don't think it'll be an issueReally trying to start another bickering contest with Nubs? On one hand, it is a source of entertainment. On the other hand, it definitely pollutes the thread.
Oh, Nubs already derailed the Utica thread. I guess this thread, started by me, will simply be collateral damage. Let the games begin.

Garvey played excellent on Saturday but so did Piros. Piros was better in the first period on Friday and that proved to be the difference on the weekend.
Is there a problem with the PA system in the Cornerstone?
Oh I'm here. Unlike the Utica thread, I usually never have to call anybody out on here for speaking nonsense, however, so no need to post.If it's any consolation, Nubs is never on this thread so I don't think it'll be an issue![]()
Speaking of being the 3 or 4 seed, I looked back and St. Norbert has only been the #1 seed in the conference tournament twice since the MCHA and NCHA merged in 2013 (and one of those times was the very first season after the merger). Despite that, they have won the conference tournament six times since the merger. Adrian has won it the other five times (not counting Marian's win in the COVID season).I thought SNC was the better team most of the weekend as well, and like our chances as the 3 or 4 seed in the conference tournament.
