I think they heard me.10 SOG after 2 periods? Pretty pathetic for all these "finally healthy" draft picks and the "#1 overall according to one guy" new guy.
Need to see some heart/drive/desperation out of them this third. Margin for error is almost gone.
Loser team plain and simple. The # of late deciding goals they have given up this year shows zero character. And McCarthy with 3 sloppy penalties was dog crap. 1 eliminating a PP and another pretty much eliminating a chance for a tying goal. OT would have been a real morale booster and helped a lot in ranking. They are going to get spanked in a big way on Saturday. Very few invested players the coaches have given up trying to get through to themAll we needed to do is get this game to OT. I think they turned it over a dozen times on stupid plays in our zone. Over and over. The only thing that kept us in it was some really skilled shots. That’s losing hockey.
Yes Boumedienne didn’t get back into the play after the TO his man was standing alone in front. Sit him and the SFB McCarthy tomorrowBoumedienne had a great ciew of the action on the winning goal.
Too bad he couldn't have cared enough to get involved after his turnover in the defensive end.
And I'd sit McCarthy for the next two for the really stupid penalites, espeecially that last one.
Hey, but they don't care. Why should I?
The youth movement is not working. Men against boys.Lazy hockey creates turnovers and penalties. Absolute self-inflicted loss.
I wish the explanation was that clear. While BU is the youngest team, PC is 7th or 9th youngest- something like that. Also, I doubt we would switch rosters with any of the oldest teams- Niagara, Ferris, Canisius, Army, Sacred Heart, RIT, Bentley, Stonehill, etc.The youth movement is not working. Men against boys.

Hutson certainly has not had much of that wow factor since the return from WJC and the injury. He was a big factor with a few plays in the game prior to this, but he’s either unable or unwilling to do the kinds of things he was previously doing to move the puck and create in the offensive zone. That is certainly one of the factors that is hampering the team offensively.Watched on tape delay. They had me going there for awhile. Agree with everything said above. The turnovers in their own end have just killed the season. Am I the only one who thought Hutson was strangely invisible?
For the Beanpot, this may be the weakest field we've seen in a while. BC seems to be the biggest obstacle, and this is certainly not one of their better years. That goal seems realistic.Hutson certainly has not had much of that wow factor since the return from WJC and the injury. Defensively the team has improved mostly, but the turnovers in key areas of the ice continue over 20 games into the season. Providence’s looks very good and they exposed our weaknesses for sure. They blocked toms of shots and their goalie made some keys saves.
Man, not getting that game to OT was very costly. I think we would remain in the top 16 with that result. Could have moved up further with a win tonight. Just no prolonged momentum to move into NCAA qualification territory. It will likely be win HE or go home. Surprising with this roster and goalie. Can we get some magic on 2 Mondays and at least win the Beanpot at least?
All 100% accurate. The general defensive game has improved, but they are prone to turnovers and PC has the speed, skill, and coaching to force them.Hutson certainly has not had much of that wow factor since the return from WJC and the injury. If Quinn Hutson and Shane Lachance had stuck around for one more year I think this would have been a very different season and they could have both benefited from it.Well based on rankings the team should lose the next three games. If they can win two of them that would be an excellent result in my opinion. I wouldn't say I am nervous, but that may be because I have pretty much accepted that they are not going to get an at-large bid and will have to get hot at the right time. I know they still can get an at-large bid and of course I hope they start a long winning streak tonight. But for a team that can't seem to sweep inferior opponents in any given weekend, I am certainly not expecting them to do so against a team as good as PC. Prove me wearing BU!

This team just lacks experience and veteran leadership. The most reliable players (7, 10, 25) are bottom-6ers that are freshmen or sophomores. The lack of skilled, physical juniors and seniors is a huge gap compared to recent years.
