Unfortunately they're still operated as two separate companies with no crossover. You'd need an SXM account to get Radio Classics Channel 148.
Now, if you, your wife, or your kids have SiriusXM in their car and haven't activated the free streaming account that accompanies it, jump on that and get access.

Happily I downloaded the entire series years ago. Navigation is a PITA but I can listen to "the transcribed adventures of the man with the action-packed expense account – America's fabulous freelance insurance investigator."
IMHO the best dramatic radio show ever produced, and one of the very few (along with the Jack Benny Show) as fresh today as the moment it was recorded. The finest long form noir ever written.

It's amusing to see you two bicker like that...
People are being ignorant because they want to hate someone. It's very simple. So many of you may remember that I was an engineer at a very large company- so I knew a lot of really smart engineers who were capable of doing some really in depth research, if they so desired. Back in the ACA negotiation days, I had an office mate who was angry that the ACA had some very specific sharia law in it. Even was able to quote the text.
But when I brought up the text of the law, and looked for those very words, none of them were there. Zero. There was no sharia law in it at all, no concessions for them- even though there were concessions for birth control issues for religious reasons- meaning Christians got laws just for them, but Muslims did not. Still he was convinced that there were laws specifically for any Muslim, because he really hated them. Like a lot. He wasn't stupid, but since someone told him some "news" to be angry about that supported his hate of anything Muslim, he bought it hook line and sinker even though it was 100% false.
Which is the exact same thing going on now. There can't be any government assistance to illegal aliens, but the right buy into the story that it's what is being fought for. SNAP can't be used for anything but food, but they buy into the notion that people use it for phones or hairdressing (note- it was pretty targeted at black women- the prototype for Reagan's welfare queen).
The hate is SO VERY STRONG that they are very much ok with them suffering. Badly.
Why do people hate? Because they were taught to (which is why being "woke" is such a target- since all that is telling us to do is be nice and respectful to everyone).
That's the sad part of our country. The south has suffered economically for way over a century just because of hate. And they just keep suffering.

I would say at this point 95% of the Right is stupid and 35% of the Left is stupid.
I am fine with stupid people who unthinkingly support policies to feed hungry people and tax the rich. I don't need them to be smart. If I needed people to be smart I'd disenfranchise 67% of the global population. I just need people to be either smart *or* kind. Even the smart-vicious are useful on occasion as long as we keep them caged until needed. I wouldn't put down Dick Cheney, I'd freeze him for a really bad day to fight other smart-vicious people. Or for, you know, entertainment.
I want to detoxify the dumb-vicious portion of the population. I really do not think that is asking too much. And the way to do that is to split them 50/50 so they have no power. We need to attract enough of them that they lose control of the GOP without gaining control over us.
But what we really need is a dumb-vicious third party. Pat Buchanan tried, but we need a new flavor to render them proud, pure, and irrelevant.

For the tax breaks. Remember that most farmers are multi millionaires- the average farm land price in Iowa is a little over $10k, so just 100 acres means that a farmer has a million dollars of just farm land. Add the house, all the equipment, etc, The average farm size in Iowa is about 350 acres, so the average farm is worth north of $3.5M.
Add to that they get special taxes already, and get special rules for bad years, etc- it's good money to be a farmer. No idea why they thought the gravy train would continue when they wanted a trade war, turn off USAID, and eliminate the poor customers turning off SNAP.
But these are the rich or at least pretend rich that makes "business" people appeal to them. The dumb thing is that the only realistic complaint that I can see of democrats is the new run off rules- which is to prevent ruining the very land and water systems they rely on. Oh, and I forget that they are the #1 user of illegal immigration for labor- so they want to keep that as cheap as possible, so they think making them *more* illegal will give them the power to pay them less and treat them less human. That's really why immigration will never be fixed. We can even ignore resorts like marylago that uses illegal immigrants as actual slave labor.
(BTW, having the ability to either use land as collateral or sell it is REALLY powerful financially- so the fact they they say they are cash poor is just gaslighting)

There is actually quite a bit of internal backlash, shame going on behind the scenes in a lot of red areas right now. People are learning very quickly that lots of white, rural folks use those same cards that buy lobster and caviar for those black/brown people in cities. I've personally seen the argument shift in the last few weeks from complaining about that kind of stuff, to now how **local person** uses them the "right way" and needs to be allowed access to their benefits...
They just shift the narrative to fit their specific needs, as long as their is a clear line between rural America and "cities".....
