The Countries: Forget it, Burkina Faso, Michigan is still the worst.

Isn't the Thai government in the process of falling apart? Maybe this is their Wag the Dog moment.

The current PM is under a lot of scrutiny (for a myriad of very good reasons one of which has led to a current suspension) but not sure they're currently in danger of 'falling apart'.
 
In 93 years, Thailand has had 20 constitutions. They are always in the process of falling apart.

I'm well aware of their history. My wife and I talk about these things very regularly.

It appears their 1997 constitution was their most democratic, and stable. Was democracy succeeding and the military didn't like their diminished role and perks? Or was there a genuine political crisis and not a cynical coup?
 
To add to our international embarrassment this week, we denied visas to the Venezuelan Little League Baseball team. Our President wets himself at the thought of 10 year olds with bats, apparently.
