A post on what appears to be his Facebook page was put up by his husband. Apparently they had been targeted by homophobic neighbors for some time. Their house burned down in January (unsure of the nature from the post) and they returned to check on it when this happened. The neighbor apparently began to yell homophobic slurs at them and fired with Jonathan apparently pushing his husband away from the line of fire. They had only need married since February

The house was intentionally set on fire and they had received multiple threats of that prior to. They also were grieving over the fact that someone had placed the skulls of their dogs in their harnesses and hung them.

It wasn’t “an argument with a neighbor”, it was a hate crime.

And people wonder why I celebrate when homophobes and MAGAts like Ashli Babbitt and even Corey Comperatore get killed. Fuck them. The world would be a better place if Jonathan Joss was still in it and the human waste that burnt his house down and killed him were not.
