The "D2 loophole" is a fun thought experiment, but I highly doubt that is why Salve scheduled 4 games against D2 teams. They were almost certainly just desperate to fill out their schedule.
St. Norbert was a perennial power in the 2000s and 2010s, but they haven't been a legit national title contender since they last won it all in 2018. You could maybe make an argument for the 2019 season when they got screwed by the bracket, but they would've needed to get past Point regardless...
I think I can speak for all SNC fans (other than Sir Nubs) in saying that the perennial national power joke needs to die. SNC may have an arena full of banners to back up the claim, but they are reaching the point where they are no more a perennial national power than Middlebury.

I'll bite. There is certainly a range in video quality in the NCHA, but I feel like I can't really complain as long as it's free and I can at least mostly follow the action on screen. Bonus if I'm able to synch up the SNC audio broadcast.
You know you are spoiled as a fan when you are worried about losing a couple first place votes in the poll due to a 6-4 win. Enjoy the good old days while they last :)
