    It seems like most of the old school coaches don't want anything to do with the portal (in other sports as well). Coghlin talked about it on his recent podcast interview. His philosophy is that he wants to tell a recruit that he has a spot for four years.

    I was going to make a comment about how there are 2.5 times as many East teams as West teams, but I count 3 players from Beloit, one from Trine and one from Dubuque, so it's nowhere near proportional. I think Akl and Schmuck both hit the portal after putting up big numbers for Aurora in 2024-25...

    Hamline and St Thomas (now D1) are also less than 3 miles apart. Sticking with current D3 schools we have Hamline and Augsburg at 5.5 miles.

    Enjoy any and all future success, whether that is another championship or simply a tournament appearance. You may find yourself wondering what happened to the last 8 years and has it really been that long since the last frozen four appearance.
