    R and N Gorbotenko will be red shirting this year. That was the plan from the start according to MJ, so it appears they were not Olympics insurance.

    Adela was dreadful on faceoffs in game 2 at 40%. Game 1 she was 52%. I wonder if the finger injury is affecting her on these.

    Next year they have 16 F and 6 D. I kind of wish they had a CHL guy or 2 in this class, they seem to be more immediate impact players. Only 6 D is concerning.

    When they played those fill the bowl games in the Kohl Center when it still had the big ice sheet, UW struggled in those games.

    IDK, UW outshot them both games. I need to get eyes on game 2 to figure out how they managed to give up 38 shots while having 56 themselves. Typically you don't get 56 shots without bottling up a team in their D zone for long periods of time.

    What is the worst thing about women’s college hockey?

    Three on three overtime is the worst. Play 10 minutes, five on 5 and call it a day. Shootouts are way too individualistic in a game that is very team oriented .

    It is to be expected that we're going to not play it as well defensively with those two guys sick. Lots of good film to teach with for the rest of the guys who are healthy.
