    I have seen enough of Applebee to elevate Scopa to G2. I hope he can improve but way too many soft goals and out of position.

    I watched the game. Was surprised UNH generally lead but Merrimack always eventually tied. Ended up as a tie and I turned it off. Not sure if they did a shootout. I hate shootouts.

    Great offensive showing from the team this past weekend. Goalie position still to be monitored. I felt Applebee gave up too many goals for the number of shots. CK looked the part but against a worse team. Let them play it out but think CK will get most of the starts by year end.

    My comment was tongue in cheek but I have never heard of that college. My great uncle was a professor at McGill and I used to travel to Toronto/Montreal on business, so I am familiar with most of their universities.

    Zach Metsa was a great example of a player that came in fighting for playing time and was developed over the years. Led team to Championship. He is now a legend in Hamden and playing in the NHL.

    Sounds more like the Ivies are adapting to the times (except Yale). In regards to QU, they are doing what they need to compete. Hockey is the money sport so it makes sense. Except for Denver, it's not easy being a small school and being competitive each year. Rand is doing that here and kids...

    Ted Donato stepping down at Harvard. First Keith Allain, now Ted. He has not looked engaged the past few years so I am not surpirsed. Supposedly looking for a scouting role in the NHL. I saw Reid Cashman as a possibility but not sure why he would leave Dartmouth for Harvard at this point...

    I thought DS played really well his freshman year. Stayed close to the net and in position mostly. Since then he comes out too far and out of position. Let’s in soft goals. My guess is that was his natural play and he was just conservative early on. Possibly why Rand moved on. Anyway good...

    Starting the year with BC seems to be commonplace lately so hopefully we can get them in the schedule. My wife is a PSU alumni so we will be there. I went to an Army/Vermont game a few seasons ago so will be nice having them on the schedule again.
