Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

I remember pointing that out to someone back in 1992. They ignored the data from the previous 12 years were the debt went up that much. How they got the reputation of being fiscally sound is pretty spectacular, when the opposite was actually true. BTW, a hidden investor benefit for the...

They seem also intent on bursting the power bubble. AI may suck and be worthless, but it's a pretty massive drain on the power system. Hardly what we need. AI is bringing TMI back on line. It's *possible* that they quicken the development of new power sources, like SMRs, but AI centers are...

Workers cost money and are a drain. At least how it seem investors look at it. Insanity.

Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

Scooby noted that EV's were being cut at the knees, and H2 funding would surely be ending. That, relative to what Toyota is developing doesn't matter to me. If they are working onit, and nobody else is, it means something. GM and Ford both get development money to work on specific things...

Not what I meant- they don't get much research funding from the US like Ford and GM do. So the orange dump cutting off EV and H2 support is meaningless to their development. I had worked on more than one DOE funded project at work.

Doesn't really matter to me- the fact that they are sticking with it means something. And it's not as if Asia is looking the other way for GHG solutions. Especially since Toyota is so heavy into hybrids and EVs.

The EU and Japan will continue to help. Toyota does not give a crap about the orange dump in terms of financial support.

Leopards Ate My Face! The Official Thread.

While that may be true, how in the world does that put any of elons worshipers anywhere close to the Democratic anything? If they care about people who's best idea is to hate people so much, just ignore them. I was told with great emphasis a year ago to ignore the people left behind in former...

Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

I totally understand where you are coming from. but when I see Toyota continuing to invest in H2, I put some serious weight on that. It's also not THE future of transportation, but it sure seems that it will be a factor. Toyota is not a company that does things for fashion or trying to solely...

Leopards Ate My Face! The Official Thread.

If those people are attracted by what elmo wants, they are very much not Democrats. And I very much don't want them anywhere near the platform for D's to run on. elmo is a nazi.

I think one core problem with T that few want to realize is that their current strategy is "shareholder value" on steroids. There's no way you could justify how much they "agreed" to pay elmo except that it will clearly up the value of T stock given they have to buy that back to pay him. Which...

Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

That will get better when the budget bill goes through, ending lots of cash flow that elmo gets from tax payers. He's got to be one of least aware people on the planet- makes a product that is appealing to the green and hated by the right. Hated so much that they want to end the EV tax cut...

Gun control 2 : happy 25th anniversary of Columbine

Most of them seem to gravitate to Idaho, though. Washington is liberal as a state, and Montana is not nearly as nazi as Idaho is. We were just there a month ago, and there were huge signs welcoming drivers to dumpy country. It was even uncomfortable in relative liberal Moscow.

Gun control 2 : happy 25th anniversary of Columbine

To be accurate, it's an incredibly beautiful part of the country. Good, bad, ugly- whatever it means. Mountains, lakes, lots of outdoor things to do. How it attracted the fringe right of the country happened a long time ago. Back when Idaho even had a Democrat as governor. Why there as...

Remember, it's a God given right to have items that sole purpose is to kill people. So very christian.
